The Markham Valley of Morobe is one of the great landmarks of our beautiful country of Papua New Guinea.
It starts from outside the City of Lae and stretches all the way to Yung Creek at the bottom of Kassam Pass in Eastern Highlands.
The drive through the valley is most-enjoyable with the wind in your face and surrounded by mountain sentinels, rivers and cattle grazing.
The Markham Valley has long been touted as the “food bowl of PNG”, however, to this day its full agriculture potential has never been fully realised.
