An event synonymous with Lae since the late 1950s is the Morobe Agriculture Show held at the Lae Showground.
It brings together people from Lae, Morobe, Madang, the Highlands and other parts of Papua New Guinea in a celebration of the agriculture and business potential of the Province of Morobe.
However, since COVID-19 came along at the end of 2019, there was no Morobe Agriculture Show in 2020 and 2021.
Everyone is hoping that things take a turn for the better and the show is held in 2022.
