Pictures of a flight from Maramuni to Mt Hagen

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, chopper pilot Captain David Takendu of HeliSolutions flew us from remote Maramuni in Enga to Mt Hagen in Western Highlands.

Due to very bad weather, David flew us to near the border with East Sepik, and then behind Kompiam-Ambum in Enga to Baiyer Valley in Western Highlands and on to Hagen.

We flew over some of the most-spectacular terrain of Enga, East Sepik, to near the border of Madang and then toWestern Highlands.

Papua New Guinea is one beautiful country.

After the rugged mountains between Enga and East Sepik, we fly into the beautiful Baiyer Valley of Western Highlands, with Madang just over the mountains from here.
