For all passengers on Air Niugini flights arriving into Port Moresby from 1am on Monday, April 18, 2022, there is no longer a requirement to provide evidence at check-in of a negative PCR test, nor to complete the online health declaration form.
The requirement to complete a rapid test on arrival in Port Moresby remains.
It is recommended that passengers departing on international flights that then connect onto Air Niugini (i.e. departures from Europe, NZ, USA, China, Middle East, rest of Asia, etc) should continue to get a negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure until April 25, simply to allow time for this new advice to disseminate through the IATA airline check-in information system to all other airlines and their countries of origin.
