I bought this 3 in 1 cable at CHM at Courts, Gordon, for K40 with my Visa card this morning.
Unknown to me, the cunning Asian shopkeeper had entered K45 into the EFTPOS machine, without letting me see.
When I checked receipt, and saw K45, I said he’d overcharged me and asked him to refund my K5.
He said prices had gone up to K45 but the price tag hadn’t been changed.
I didn’t want to argue as I’d just come out of church.
If you’ve stolen from me, I forgive you.
PS: This is how Asian shopkeepers are cheating many of us unwary PNG customers.
